Mommy is sleepy, very very sleepy. As you can see, Maia is not at all sleepy.

Dedication

We had Maia's church dedication today. She slept through most of it. Sean came to pledge with the church and to take pictures.

Getting stronger

Here is baby Maia showing off her growing neck strength. She can hold her head up much better now. She also rolled most of the way from her tummy to her back today!

Catching up on sleep

Joshua loves baby sister. Here he is kissing her. Mommy and Daddy are still pretty sleep deprived so here we are catching up on a little sleep with our baby girl.

Maia Elise

10lbs, 4oz, 21" Long.
Maia was born 9 minutes after Misty was checked into the hospital. Drive, Gene, Drive!!!! Labor was approximately 1 hour with no time for an epidural. We're all doing fine now and little Miss Maia is sleeping away the afternoon.

Happy Easter, Joshua!

Joshua had a great Easter. He was so excited about the whole idea that there was a hidden Easter basket that he kept stopping looking for it to do a little dance. Here is Joshua with his basket. We had Sean and some friends over for Easter dinner and Joshua had a fantastic time there too. On the baby girl front we're at 3 weeks and counting.

"Hello BeeBee Dit Duh!"

The translation for anyone who doesn't speak Joshua would be, "Hello baby sister!" Joshua asked yesterday if she could come out. He seems like he's starting to get excited about being a big brother. We'll see how things go once she arrives.

Where is Joshua?

I went in to check on Joshua the other night and found that he'd pulled down his curtains, but where was Joshua? After my eyes adjusted I noticed that there was something tangled up in the bottom of the curtains. Here's a picture of what I found. I also added a picture of Joshua taking a very proactive stance on dental hygiene.

My Tummy

This is a picture of my tummy, my very very large tummy. I've also included a picture of the house. The time before last when I was visiting I noticed that Grandma had printouts of the rental house we'd lived in, so I thought I'd post the current house here along with the nursery so Grandma could see them.

Updates

Here are a couple new pictures of Joshua. The first is in his car seat and the second is him in his little lederhosen. I realized I had almost no pictures of him in the lederhosen since he was so sick at Oktoberfest. Baby girl is getting bigger and bigger and kicking the heck out of me. Joshua has started setting little toys aside and telling me they are for baby sister when she somes out and isn't "stuck" any more. He's a very sweet boy and is going to be a very good big brother.

Horse playdate

Joshua went on a horsey playdate with my mommy's group. He kept his seat like a little champ. Here is Joshua riding his forst pony and then riding in the pony cart with Mommy. He had a great time riding and then telling me what horses say.
